We have 24 RV sites open and ready to rent. The roof is going on the new bath house and the roads are paved.

April of 2009, one week before the flood, we purchased the 20 acre field that adjoins the Rendezvous.  It was to be developed as a full hook-up RV Resort with all the good stuff.  50 amp services, water, sewer, WIFI, satellite TV all on large 40'x80' sites.  Some sites are pull though and are even longer.   The flood delayed the start of the project but now all the variances have been approved and the construction permits are in the works.  There is a pool complex planned for the area with a new bath house, laundry and lodge/ meeting room.  We are very excited about the expansion and the improved amenities to the Suwannee River Rendezvous.  I will be posting pictures as we break ground and keep this page updated as we go forward with the Upper Rendezvous RV Resort.  I have a site plan and I am going to try and post it.  If it shows up you know I did it. 

We have started working on the new campground. YES!!! Frank is removing some old water lines and he gets to use the backhoe so you know that is fun.

The roads have been paved and we have 24 sites ready to go.  The lots have been seeded with winter rye and the bahia will be seaded after the last freeze.  

These cute things are fish homes for the catch and release pond.  The pond is dug and liner has been installed.  The pump has been ordered and the waterfall is being constructed right now.  Dan will have this area looking like a fishing pond soon.

The new roof is going on the bath house/laundry building.

Lime rock is packed on the road and we are ready for paving.

October 22, 2011 The bath house form boards are in. Hopefully we will be able to pour the slab next week.

The large swimming pool will be 65' long 3' to 7' deep.  Est. completion time for the pool complex is February 2012.

The conversation spa is 40' long and will be kept at 95 degrees.

This is the spa and the bath house behind it. You can see part of the other two pools. There will be pavers and planters around all three pools.

The little pink stakes out line the big swimming pool. It will be 65 feet long and 3-6 feet deep. There are two other pools going in the complex at the same time.

The guys just finished putting in the liner here. It took all of them to roll this out and get it in place. It has dirt on it now and looks more like a pond without water.
